The Best Way to Learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript Simplified!

Introduction

So people always wonder... What is the best way to learn frontend web development? This is not a how-to article but a proven method (by me and others) to actually getting better!

If you do not know already, the main web development languages to start off your journey are HTML, CSS and JavaScript!

These are the building blocks to creating a web application, website and tons of other things!

The First Steps

The first step in actually starting is literally just do it! Who cares if you have no starting point, no nothing, just start it!

No need to directly get started with it but you can read articles, watch video's, maybe play around with existing code, anything to just start!

Some resources at this point are:

Now is the time to get your hands dirty! Learn!!!! There is a repetitive method for this:

  1. Learn (like CSS) by course, article, book, etc.

  2. Make a project with what you learned

  3. Repeat

Simple right? This is the building blocks to starting your adventure. Some resources are:

Now it is time to grind your dull axe! You must perfect your newfound skills! Literally this is the step where you make a abundance of hard projects for experience and learn new skills like fullstack development or UX Design!

This step is hard, because now you go on to be your own independent developer. Literally just follow your heart in this situation.

Do you want to learn React? MongoDB? Node? UX Design? UI! This is the time for all that!

It is hard for me to give you some resources to prepare you but here they are:

Tips

This is just my compiled list of tips for your journey!

  1. Be aware of burnout! Feeling tired? Take a break until you feel rejuvenated!
  2. Do something for your mental health! Workout, Yoga, Plants (me) anything that just makes you a happier person!
  3. Physical Shape - Always remember to have good posture, try not to deteriorate your eyes too much (like me), workout, keep a good diet, etc.!
  4. If you skip 1 day, do not skip another, missing something is more detrimental than the positives of actually doing it.
  5. Connect with others! Your journey can feel lonely, connect with others on Discord, social media, etc. (Also a mentor is pretty good)
  6. Have fun with it! If it feels extremely painful to get up, you have to address a concern!

Conclusion

Now you should get a good idea of what your journey will look like as a developer! Everyone turns out different but just keep to these as a basis!

It would make my day if you gave me a like, follow or share! I also have a newsletter you can join that notifies you of new articles! Have a good day!
